First, I started off with two coats of Isaac Mizrahi Fabulous Pink (2341) polish; after the pink was sufficiently dry, I swiped two coats of purple on at the tips. The purple is terribly cheap Forever 21 polish, but as long as you implement some sort of polish with shine over top it looks ok. I applied the purple in the same fashion as you would for a typical French tip, and then added a silver sparkle polish called Sally Hansen Gem Crush Big Money (03). The sparkles I concentrated at the tips and faded out as it approached the nail bed.
While I was awaiting the drying of the sparkly polish, I fell asleep on my bedroom floor. So, the next day, I completed my manicure by adding my favorite Sally Hansen Invisible (100) top coat!
