As the summer is beginning to make itself known, so to is my motivation to continue doing what I was “born to do”, and that is design. Every since I was a little girl, designing clothes has been my passion, and that is why I attended Louisiana State University, to earn my Bachelors of Science in Textiles Apparel Design and Merchandising. Design is one of the few majors that you actually learn what you will be doing when you get out into the “real world”, if you are one of the lucky few to wrangle a coveted position with a designer. Even though I am not currently working for a designer, I am blessed to be working for the prestigious company, Page Parkes Center of Modeling and Acting. I enjoy my job immensely, but designing will always be my one true love, so here are some photos of two of the pieces I created.
